Rhomboid family member 2 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the RHBDF2 gene. The alternative name iRhom2 has been proposed, in order to clarify that it is a catalytically inactive member of the rhomboid family of intramembrane serine proteases.

RHBDF2 has several biochemical functions, for example, growth factor binding, NOT serine-type endopeptidase activity. Some of the functions are cooperated with other proteins, some of the functions could acted by RHBDF2 itself. We selected most functions RHBDF2 had, and list some proteins which have the same functions with RHBDF2. You can find most of the proteins on our site.
