TTF2

  • Official Full Name

transcription termination factor, RNA polymerase II

  • Overview

This gene encodes a member of the SWI2/SNF2 family of proteins, which play a critical role in altering protein-DNA interactions. The encoded protein has been shown to have dsDNA-dependent ATPase activity and RNA polymerase II termination activity. This protein interacts with cell division cycle 5-like, associates with human splicing complexes, and plays a role in pre-mRNA splicing.

TTF2 has several biochemical functions, for example, ATP binding, ATP-dependent helicase activity, DNA binding. Some of the functions are cooperated with other proteins, some of the functions could acted by TTF2 itself. We selected most functions TTF2 had, and list some proteins which have the same functions with TTF2. You can find most of the proteins on our site.

TTF2 has direct interactions with proteins and molecules. Those interactions were detected by several methods such as yeast two hybrid, co-IP, pull-down and so on. We selected proteins and molecules interacted with TTF2 here. Most of them are supplied by our site. Hope this information will be useful for your research of TTF2.
