Alizarin Red S Staining Quantitative Detection Kit (CPC Method)

Cat.No. :
Kit-3610
Product Overview :
Alizarin Red S is an anthraquinone derivative and the sodium salt of alizarin sulfonate. It chelates calcium ions in calcium carbonate or calcium phosphate to form an orange-red complex, making it suitable for staining calcium deposits in tissue sections and cultured cells.
For convenient analysis of calcium content and concentration, Alizarin Red S staining can be completely eluted using CPC reagent. The eluted solution is transferred to a 96-well plate, and the calcium content is semi-quantitatively analyzed by measuring the optical density at 560 nm.
This kit contains staining solution, standard solution, and elution solution, and is suitable for extraction and quantification of Alizarin Red S staining in cell and tissue samples.
