This kit combines Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP) staining with periodic acid–Schiff (PAS) staining to simultaneously visualize ALP activity and PAS-positive substances. ALP activity appears black, while PAS-positive materials appear magenta. The method is applicable to frozen and paraffin sections. Careful control of periodic acid oxidation time is required to prevent fading.
