The Anti-Human CD45 PerCP Antibody is a fluorochrome-conjugated monoclonal antibody for flow cytometric detection of CD45 (leukocyte common antigen), a transmembrane protein tyrosine phosphatase expressed at high levels on all nucleated hematopoietic cells. CD45 is the universal marker for leukocyte identification and is routinely employed as a gating reagent to discriminate leukocytes from non-hematopoietic cells, debris, and erythrocytes in flow cytometry. CD45 expression intensity also aids in distinguishing major leukocyte populations: lymphocytes (CD45ʰⁱᵍʰ), monocytes (CD45ⁱⁿᵗᵉʳᵐᵉᵈⁱᵃᵗᵉ), and granulocytes (CD45ˡᵒ). Conjugated to PerCP (Ex/Em: 482 nm / 678 nm), this antibody provides a robust signal in the PerCP channel, making it an essential component of multi-color lymphocyte subset panels and immunophenotyping workflows in clinical and research settings.
