The Anti-Human CD8 PE Antibody is a fluorochrome-conjugated monoclonal antibody for flow cytometric detection of CD8, a 34 kDa cell surface glycoprotein that serves as a co-receptor for the T-cell receptor (TCR) in MHC class I-restricted antigen recognition. CD8 is the defining marker of cytotoxic/suppressor T lymphocytes and is also expressed on subsets of NK cells and dendritic cells. Enumeration of CD8⁺ T cells is essential for immune status assessment in HIV/AIDS monitoring, vaccine response evaluation, and immuno-oncology research. Conjugated to PE (Ex/Em: 496, 565 nm / 578 nm), this antibody delivers bright, consistent staining suitable for multi-color lymphocyte subset panels in clinical and research flow cytometry applications.
