Product Overview :

β-1,3-Glucanase (EC 3.2.1.39) is mainly present in plants and catalyzes hydrolysis of β-1,3-glucosidic bonds. Its activity is induced under pathogen infection or stress conditions and is widely used in plant pathology and stress physiology studies.
β-1,3-Glucanase hydrolyzes laminarin to produce reducing ends. Enzyme activity is calculated by measuring the rate of reducing sugar formation.
