Description :
Canine respiratory pathogens include viruses and bacteria that cause respiratory infections in dogs: Canine distemper virus (CDV), Canine parainfluenza virus (CPIV), Canine adenovirus type I (CAV-I), Canine adenovirus type II (CAV-II), Mycoplasma canis, and Chlamydia psittaci.
These pathogens cause coughing, sneezing, nasal discharge, fever, and reduced appetite. Some are highly contagious and easily spread among dogs, particularly in kennels and shelters.
Applications :
• For detection in oropharyngeal, nasopharyngeal, or conjunctival swabs from dogs with respiratory symptoms.
• Suitable for qualitative detection of CDV, CPIV, CAV-I, CAV-II, Mycoplasma canis, C. psittaci, and canine β-actin DNA.
