Product Overview :

Elastic fibers are abundant in arterial walls, alveolar septa, and skin, exhibiting strong refractivity and yellow coloration when fresh. Common staining methods include aldehyde fuchsin, resorcin–fuchsin, Victoria blue, and iron hematoxylin techniques.
This modified Gomori aldehyde fuchsin method exploits the strong affinity of mature aldehyde fuchsin for specific proteins and sulfated mucopolysaccharides within elastic fibers. Mast cell granules, lipofuscin, and eosinophils may also be stained and should be distinguished morphologically.
