Reporter gene assays are widely used in studies of eukaryotic gene expression regulation, with bioluminescence assays being one of the most common and effective approaches. Luciferase catalyzes the conversion of luciferin and emits photons during the reaction.
This product provides a rapid, sensitive, and stable method for detecting firefly luciferase reporter gene expression in mammalian cells. It can detect as little as 10-20 mol of luciferase and exhibits excellent linearity over a wide enzyme concentration range from 10-14 to 10-20 mol.
