Helicobacter pylori is closely associated with chronic gastritis and peptic ulcer disease. The organism typically exhibits curved, S-shaped, or spiral morphology and is primarily located in the mucus layer overlying gastric epithelial cells, particularly within gastric pits.
This staining kit employs the May–Grünwald–Giemsa (MGG) method. After staining, H. pylori appears blue, collagen fibers red, erythrocytes green, gastric epithelium pale blue, and nuclei dark blue. The method provides clear contrast and reliable visualization of bacterial distribution.
