L-Lactic acid is an organic acid produced from corn starch through biological fermentation. It is a colorless, clear, viscous liquid with acidic aqueous solutions. Due to its levorotatory nature, L-lactic acid exhibits excellent biocompatibility and can directly participate in human metabolism without adverse effects. It is widely used in food, pharmaceutical, and related industries.
L-Lactic acid shows an absorption peak at 210 nm and can be quantitatively determined by HPLC.

Reagent II: powder × 2 bottles, stored at 4 °C
Standard: powder × 1 bottle, store at 4 °C protected from light. Reconstitute with 2 mL distilled water to prepare a 10 mg/mL L-lactic acid standard solution before use.
