Lipofuscin is a brown-yellow granular pigment derived from oxidized lipids and lipoproteins. It is commonly found in liver, kidney, myocardium, adrenal glands, and neurons, typically localized around the nucleus.
This kit contains fuchsin and methylene blue solutions, staining lipofuscin and waxy substances brown-black, with a light red-purple or light blue background.
