Mallory trichrome staining is a simplified and modified trichrome method that omits a separate nuclear staining step, allowing rapid differentiation between collagen fibers and muscle fibers. As a fast staining formulation designed for fixed specimens, preliminary optimization experiments are recommended prior to batch staining to achieve optimal results.
