Hematoxylin–eosin (H&E) staining is a foundational histological technique. Hematoxylin stains nuclei blue-purple, while eosin stains cytoplasm and extracellular matrix red.
This enhanced formulation uses a differentiation-resistant hematoxylin to improve control of nuclear staining intensity and clarity, alcohol-soluble eosin for improved stability and durability, and a reinforced bluing reagent to enhance contrast and color definition. All reagents are supplied as ready-to-use solutions.
