Product Overview :
NADH oxidase (NOX, EC 1.6.99.3) is widely distributed in animals, plants, microorganisms, and cultured cells. It catalyzes direct oxidation of NADH to NAD in the presence of oxygen and participates in NAD regeneration and immune responses.
NADH oxidation is coupled with reduction of 2,6-dichlorophenolindophenol (DCPIP), which changes from blue to colorless. The reduction rate of DCPIP at 600 nm reflects NOX activity.
