The Prussian Blue Iron Stain Kit (Ferric Iron, Enhance With DAB) is designed for the sensitive detection of ferric iron (Fe3+) deposits in tissue sections and cell samples. Based on the classic Prussian blue reaction, ferric iron reacts with potassium ferrocyanide to form insoluble blue deposits, which are further enhanced with DAB to produce a darker, high-contrast signal for improved visualization. Iron deposits appear brown to dark brown, while background tissue is clearly defined, enabling accurate localization and assessment of iron accumulation. This kit provides high sensitivity, excellent specificity, and reproducible results, making it well suited for studies of iron metabolism, hemosiderosis, neurodegenerative disorders, and related histopathological research.
