Product Overview :
Available potassium is the fraction of soil potassium that can be absorbed and utilized by plants. It plays an important role in promoting starch and sugar synthesis, increasing oil and protein content, and enhancing plant stress resistance.
Principle: Under weakly alkaline conditions, potassium ions react with sodium tetraphenylborate to form a white potassium tetraphenylborate precipitate. The resulting turbidity increases at 420 nm and is proportional to potassium ion concentration within a certain range.
