Product Overview :
Diff-Quik staining is a rapid Romanowsky-type method derived from Wright staining and recommended by the WHO for cytological examinations. Staining can be completed within 90 seconds, producing results comparable to Wright–Giemsa staining.
The method relies on differential binding of acidic and basic dyes to proteins with different isoelectric points. Acidophilic proteins bind acidic dyes and appear red; basophilic proteins bind basic dyes and appear blue; neutral proteins appear purple.
This kit is suitable for sperm and cell morphology assessment, includes fixative, allows batch staining, and produces clean backgrounds. Intended for research use only.
