Product Overview :

This dye-exclusion method is used for routine assessment of sperm viability. The staining solution consists of eosin and nigrosin. Damaged membranes in non-viable sperm allow dye entry, resulting in staining, whereas intact membranes in viable sperm exclude the dye and remain unstained. The percentage of viable sperm can thus be determined. This reagent is intended for clinical diagnostic or related applications.
