Product Overview :

Significance: Inorganic phosphorus, primarily in the form of phosphate, participates in numerous metabolic processes, including energy metabolism, nucleic acid synthesis, protein phosphorylation and dephosphorylation, as well as carbohydrate synthesis, conversion, and transport.
Principle: Phosphate reacts with molybdenum blue reagent to form a colored complex exhibiting a characteristic absorbance at 660 nm. Inorganic phosphorus content is determined by measuring absorbance at this wavelength.
