Product Overview :

Significance: Total antioxidant capacity reflects the combined effects of antioxidants and antioxidant enzymes present in samples. It is widely used to evaluate antioxidant status in biological fluids, cell or tissue lysates, plant extracts, traditional herbal extracts, and antioxidant solutions.
Principle: Under acidic conditions, antioxidants reduce Fe³⁺–TPTZ complexes to Fe²⁺–TPTZ, forming a blue-colored product. The reduction capacity is proportional to total antioxidant capacity.
