  • What We Do

Drug delivery is the process of administering a pharmaceutical product to achieve a therapeutic effect in humans or animals. The process is crucial to improving the safety efficacy ratio of drugs and is influenced by several factors. For example, the routes of administration greatly affect drug bioavailability by changing the environment that a drug being exposed to during delivery. Another important factor is the design of drug delivery systems, which is of great importance but challenging in pharmaceutical industry. The global market for novel drug delivery systems in 2010 was $131.6 billion and increased to $196.4 billion by the end of 2014. The market is expected to rise at an annual growth rate of 7.2%. Yet the need is far from satisfaction due to a relatively small pool of experts.

Creative BioMart has focused on drug delivery for the last decade and developed innovative systems for designs and tests of biological vehicles with controlled release profile. These systems utilize the most recent advances in delivery strategies that have benefited academic and industrial research.

Drug delivery refers to approaches, formulations, technologies, and systems for transporting a pharmaceutical compound in the body as needed to safely achieve its desired therapeutic effect. Drug delivery is often approached via a drug's chemical formulation. Medications can be taken in a variety of ways—by swallowing, by inhalation, by absorption through the skin, or by intravenous injection. Each method has advantages and disadvantages, and not all methods can be used for every medication. Improving current delivery methods or designing new ones can enhance the use of existing medications.
