Description : FASLG is a type-IItransmembrane protein that belongs to the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) family. Its binding with its receptor induces apoptosis. Fas ligand/receptorinteractions play an important role in the regulation of the immune systemand the progression of cancer.
Source : CHO cells
Species : Human
Form : Lyophilized withoutadditives.
Molecular Weight : 17.9 kDa
Purity : <95% by RP-HPLC and SDS-PAGE.
Endotoxin Level : <0.1 ng/ug
Biological Activity : Determined by itsability to induce cytotoxicity in Jurkat cells in the absence of anycross-linking. The EDSO for this effect is <10.0 ng/ml.
Specific Activity : < 1 x 105units/mg
Reconstitution : Centrifuge vialprior to opening. First add sterile distilled water to the vial to fullysolubilize the protein to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. After completesolubilization of the protein, it can be further diluted to other aqueoussolutions.
