Source : | HEK293 |
Species : | Human |
Tag : | N/A |
Form : | The VLPs are highly immunogenic, so the immunization strategy should be optimized (antigen dose, regimen and adjuvant).Supplied as 0.2 μm filtered solution in PBS, pH7.4 with trehalose as protectant. |
Bio-activity : | Immobilized Human CXCR4 Full Length Protein-VLP at 5 μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind Human ulocuplumab, Human IgG4 with a linear range of 1-31 ng/mL. |
Molecular Mass : | Virus-like particles(VLPs) are formed by self-assembly of envelop/capsid proteins from viruses. Membrance Proteins can be constituted in-situ with VLPs produced from HEK293 cell cultures. These VLPs concentrate conformationally intact membrane proteins directly on the cell surface and produce soluble, high-concentration proteins perfect for immunization and antibody screening. The VLPs provide the display of properly folded membrane proteins in their native cellular membrane in a compact size of 100~300 nm diameter (similar to the size of most viruses) making it optimal targets for dendritic cells in vivo and surface attachment for phage display. |
Protein Length : | Met 1-Ser 352 |
Endotoxin : | Less than 1.0 EU per μg by the LAL method. |
Storage : | For long term storage, the product should be stored at lyophilized state at-20°C or lower. Please avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. This product is stable after storage at:-20°C to-70°C for 12 months in lyophilized state;-70°C for 3 months under sterile conditions after reconstitution. |
Reconstitution : | It is recommended that sterile water be added to the vial to prepare a stock solution of 0.2 ug/ul. Centrifuge the vial at 4°C before opening to recover the entire contents. |
Gene Name : | CXCR4 chemokine (C-X-C motif) receptor 4 [ Homo sapiens ] |

Ask a questionCXCR4 participates in chemotaxis and migration of immune cells, facilitating their movement toward specific tissues during the immune response.
Specific chemokines or ligands, such as CXCL12, bind to CXCR4, influencing its role in immune cell activation and recruitment.
CXCR4 is predominantly localized on the cell surface of immune cells, particularly within the membrane of T cells and monocytes.
Dysregulation or abnormal expression of CXCR4 is associated with diseases such as cancer, HIV/AIDS, and autoimmune disorders, particularly affecting immune cell function.
There are potential therapeutic implications related to CXCR4 in diseases involving immune dysregulation and inflammation, making it a target for drug development.
CXCR4 contributes to the regulation of inflammatory responses and immune cell trafficking in various tissues, influencing the outcome of immune reactions.
C-X-C chemokine receptor type 4 (CXCR4) plays a crucial role in cellular processes, primarily contributing to immune responses and cell migration.
