Cat. No. : | TNFSF13B-352H |
Description : | BAFF Receptor (BAFFR), a member of the TNFR superfamily, is highly expressed in spleen, lymph node, and resting B cells and to some extent in activated B cells, resting CD4+ cells and peripheral blood leukocytes. BAFFR is a type III transmembrane protein that binds with high specificity to BAFF (TNFSF13B). BAFFR/BAFF signaling plays a critical role in B cell survival and maturation. |
Source : | Human |
Host : | E.coli |
Form : | Supplied as a lyophilized powder. |
Purity : | >95% pure by SDS PAGE and HPLC |
Sequence : | Region of BAFF Receptor protein corresponding to amino acids MRRGPRSLRG RDAPAPTPCV PAECFDLLVR HCVACGLLRT PRPKPAGASS PAPRTALQPQ ESVGAGAGEA ALPLPG. |
Molecular Mass : | 7.7 kDa |
Applications : | Numerous applications are possible with this product and should be tested by the end user under their own laboratory conditions |
Endotoxin Levels : | Endotoxin level is less than 0.1 ng per ug (1 EU/ug) |
Bioactivity : | Determined by its ability to bl DEG Ck BAFF induced mouse splen DEG Cyte survival. The expected ED50 for this effect is 2.0-4.0 ug/ml in the presence of 1.0ug/ml of human soluble BAFF. |
Storage : | Store at 4 deg C until reconstitution. Following reconstitution aliquot and freeze at -20 deg C for long term storage. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. |
