Cat. No. : Fgfr3-536M
Description : Fibroblast growthfactors (FGFs) comprise a family of at least eighteen structurally relatedproteins that are involved in a multitude of physiological and pathologicalcellular processes, including cell growth, differentiation, angiogenesis, wound healing and tumorgenesis. The biological activities of the FGFs aremediated by a family of type I transmembrane tyrosine kinases which undergodimerization and autophosphorylation after ligand binding. Four distinctgenes encoding closely related FGF receptors, FGF R1-4, are known.
Source : Mammalian cells
Form : Lyophilized from a0.2 μm filtered solution in PBS.
N-terminalSequence : Ala33
Molecular Weight : 63 kDa
Activity : Measuredby its ability to inhibit FGF acidicdependent proliferation of NR6R-3T3 mousefibroblasts. The ED50 for this effect is typically 2-6 ng/mL.
Endotoxin Level : <1.0 EUper 1 μg of the protein by the LAL method.
SDS-PAGE : 100-110kDa, reducing conditions
Purity : >90%,by SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions and visualized by silver stain.
Reconstitution : Reconstituteat 100 μg/mL in sterile PBS
Storage : Use a manualdefrost freezer and avoid repeated freezethaw cycles. 12 months from date of receipt,-20 to -70°C as supplied. 1 month, 2 to 8 °C under sterile conditions after reconstitution.3 months, -20 to -70°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
