Cat. No. : ANXA2-5278H
Description : ANXA2 also known as annexin II is a protein thatin humans is encoded by the ANXA2 gene. ANXA2 isinvolved in diverse cellular processes such as cell motility (especially thatof the epithelial cells), linkage of membrane-associated protein complexes tothe actin cytoskeleton, endocytosis, fibrinolysis, ion channel formation, andcell matrix interactions. It is a calcium-dependent phospholipid-bindingprotein whose function is to help organize exocytosis of intracellularproteins to the extracellular domain. Annexin II is a pleiotropic proteinmeaning that its function is dependent on place and time in the body.
