Mouse Anti-Bovine CD4 Hybridoma

Cat.No.: CSC-H0173
Background: CD4 (cluster of differentiation 4) is a glycoprotein expressed on the surface of T helper cells, regulatory T cells, monocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells. It was discovered in the late 1970s and was originally known as leu-3 and T4 (after the OKT4 monoclonal antibody that reacted with it) before being named CD4 in 1984. In humans, the CD4 protein is encoded by the CD4 gene.
Cell Line Description: The antibody is directed against B°CD4 antigen, the bovine equivalent of human CD4 found on helper/inducer T cells.

No eating, drinking or smoking while handling the hybridoma.3. Wash hands after handling the stable line and before leaving the lab.4. Decontaminate work surface with disinfectant or 70% ethanol before and after working with hybridoma.5. All waste should be considered hazardous.6. Dispose of all liquid waste after each experiment and treat with bleach.
