Cat. No. : IGF2R-677H
Description : The protein encoded by this gene is a receptor for both, insulin-like growth factor 2 (IGF2) and mannose 6-phosphate (M6P). The IGF2 and M6P binding sites are located on different segments of the receptor. This receptor functions in the intracellular trafficking of lysosomal enzymes, the activation of transforming growth factor beta, and the degradation of IGF2. While the mouse Igf2r gene shows exclusive expression from the maternal allele, imprinting of the human IGF2R gene appears to be polymorphic, with only a minority of individuals showing expression from the maternal allele.
Source : CHO Cells
Molecular Mass : The predicted molecular mass is 147 kDa (monomer). The apparent molecular mass of the monomer is approximately 160180 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
Predicted N terminal : Ala43
Formulation : Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution in PBS.
Purity : >95% as determined by SDSPAGE
Activity : Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA.When Recombinant Human IGFIIR is immobilized at 2 μg/mL (100 µL/well),the concentration of Recombinant Human CREG that produces 50% of theoptimal binding response is found to be approximately 2 - 10 ng/mL.
EndotoxinLevel : <0.01 EU per 1 μg of the protein by the LAL method.
Storage : 12 months from date of receipt, 20 to 70 °C as supplied. Avoid repeated freezethaw cycles.
