Description : Fibroblast growth factor 19 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the FGF19 gene. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the fibroblast growth factor (FGF) family. FGF family members possess broad mitogenic and cell survival activities, and are involved in a variety of biological processes including embryonic development cell growth, morphogenesis, tissue repair, tumor growth and invasion. This growth factor is a high affinity, heparin dependent ligand for FGFR4. Expression of this gene was detected only in fetal but not adult brain tissue. Synergistic interaction of the chick homolog and Wnt-8c has been shown to be required for initiation of inner ear development.
Source : E. coli
Species : Mouse
Form : Filtered (0,4 μm) and lyophilized in 0.5 mg/mL in 20mM TRIS, 20mM NaCl, PH 8.0.
Research topic : Energy metabolism and body weight regulation
Purity : >90%
Reconstitution : Add deionized water to prepare a working stock solution of approximately 0.5 mg/mL and let the lyophilized pellet dissolve completely. Product is not sterile! Please filter the product by an appropriate sterile filter before using it in the cell culture.
Applications : ELISA, Western blotting
