Cat. No. : TIE1-1686H
Description : Tyrosine kinase with immunoglobulin-like and EGF-like domains 1 (Tie-1) are novel endothelial cell tyrosine kinase receptors that are essential for vascular development and remodeling in the embryo. They are expressed almost exclusively in endothelial cells. Tie-1 also have a role in the regulatory pathways of early hematopoiesis and angiogenesis. It is upregulated in diseases such as atherosclerosis and rheumatoid arthritis.
Molecular Weight : The predicted molecular weight of Recombinant Human Tie-1 is Mr 107 kDa. However, the actual molecular weight as observed by migration on SDS Page is Mr 130-140 kDa.
Source : Mammalian cells
State Of Matter : Lyophilized.
Formulation : This recombinant protein was 0.2 µm filtered and lyophilized from a sterile solution containing 20 mM Tris, 0.5 M NaCl and 10% Sucrose.
Purity : >90% by SDS Page and analyzed by silver stain.
Endotoxin : <1.0 EU/µg as determined by the LAL method.
Storage And Stability : This lyophilized protein is stable for six to twelve months when stored desiccated at -20℃ to -70℃. After aseptic reconstitution, this protein may be stored at 2℃ to 8℃ for one month or at -20℃ to -70℃ in a manual defrost freezer. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles. See Product Insert for exact lot specific storage instructions.

Ask a question
How can I increase the expression level of TIE1 protein? 02/25/2022

At present, there is no direct way to increase the expression level of TIE1 protein, but it can be improved by regulating gene expression and providing nutritional support.

What are the applications of TIE1 protein in drug discovery? 12/10/2020

This protein can be used as a target for the development of new drugs, or as a drug carrier for the targeted delivery of drugs.

What is the current state of development for TIE1? 12/04/2020

TIE1 is currently in clinical trials, including small molecule inhibitors against TIE1 and inhibitors against the TIE1 signaling pathway.

How can TIE1 be used as a biomarker in clinical practice? 06/07/2020

In clinical practice, the expression level of TIE1 can be detected to predict disease progression and prognosis, and to guide the choice of treatment regimen. For example, in the diagnosis and treatment of angiogenesis-related diseases, measuring the expression level of TIE1 can help doctors determine the type, stage, and prognosis of the disease, and guide the choice of treatment regimen.

What is the significance of studying the TIE1 protein? 05/06/2020

TIE1 protein can shed light on the mechanisms of angiogenesis and embryonic development, as well as the pathogenesis of certain angiogenesis-related diseases. In addition, it is of great significance for the development of new drugs and treatment strategies.

How about TIE1 protein related to autoimmune diseases? 02/21/2020

Studies have shown that TIE1 protein plays an important role in the pathogenesis of certain autoimmune diseases.
