Human TDG protein

Cat.No. : TDG-7443H
  • Specification
  • Gene Information
  • Related Products
Description : TDG is a DNA glycosylase that removes T from the TG mismatch in DNA. Such mismatch can derive from deamination of methylated C in DNA. TDG is a mono functional glycosylase that leaves an intact AP site in DNA following its glycosylase action. In addition to T, U or ethenoC opposite G is also recognized by TDG.
Species : Human
Form : The protein is supplied in 20 mM sodium phosphate (pH 7.5), 150 mM NaCl, 5 mM β- mercaptoethanol, 10% glycerol.
Gene Name : TDG thymine-DNA glycosylase [ Homo sapiens ]
Official Symbol : TDG
Synonyms : TDG; thymine-DNA glycosylase; G/T mismatch-specific thymine DNA glycosylase; EC 3.2.2.29
