Cat. No. : |
CAB311 |
Antigen Information : |
HTLV-1 is the etiological agent for Adult T-Cell Leukemia which encodes a 40kDa cell-transforming oncoprotein called Tax. HTLV-1 Tax protein sensitizes cells to apoptotic cell death induced by DNA damaging agents. Constitutive Activation of TAK1 by HTLV-1 Tax-dependent Overexpression of TAB2 Induces Activation of JNK-ATF2 but Not IKK-NF-kB. |
Immunogen : |
r.HTLV TAX protein. |
Ig Subclass : |
Mouse IgG2a. |
Purification Method : |
Ion exchange column. |
Protein Concentration : |
1mg/ml in PBS (after reconstitution). |
Titer : |
By direct ELISA (against recombinant gp24), 1:50,000 dilution will yield 0.5 O.D using alkaline phosphatase conjugated rabbit anti-mouse Ig (Jackson Laboratories). |
Applications : |
Direct ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation. |

Two years lyophilized, one month in solution at 4°C. |
Reconstitution : |
Reconstitute with H2O. Mix gently, wash the sides of the vial and wait 30-60 seconds before use. |
Storage : |
In lyophilized form, for long periods, store at 4°C in a dry environment. After reconstitution, if not intended for use within a month, aliquot and store at -20°C. |
