Source : E. coli
Species : Mouse
Tag : N-His
Protein length : Cys32-Thr194
Form : Lyophilized from sterile 10 mM Na2HPO4, 1.8 mM KH2PO4, 2.7 mM KCl, 140 mM NaCl, 15 % glycerol. Normally 5 % - 8 % trehalose, mannitol and 0.01% Tween80 are added as protectants before lyophilization.
Bio-activity : Measured in a cell proliferation assay using BaF3 mouse pro-B cells transfected with human FGFR2b. The ED50 for this effect is typically 20-100 ng/mL.
Molecular Mass : The recombinant mouse FGF7 consists of 181 amino acids and predicts a molecular mass of 21 kDa. It migrates as an approximately 25 kDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
Purity : > 90 % as determined by SDS-PAGE
Storage : Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20°C to -80°C. Store it under sterile conditions at -20°C to -80°C. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Reconstitution : It is recommended that sterile water be added to the vial to prepare a stock solution of 0.2 ug/ul. Centrifuge the vial at 4°C before opening to recover the entire contents.
Gene Name : Fgf7 fibroblast growth factor 7 [ Mus musculus ]
Official Symbol : Fgf7
Synonyms : FGF7; fibroblast growth factor 7; FGF-7; HBGF-7; Keratinocyte growth factor; heparin-binding growth factor 7; Kgf;
Gene ID : 14178
mRNA Refseq : NM_008008
Protein Refseq : NP_032034
