Description : |
This gene encodes a serine protease enzyme that proteolytically activates hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) and plays a vital role in the regulation of HGF activity in the regeneration and repair of various tissues. The encoded protein is an inactive zymogen that is proteolytically activated to generate a heterodimeric enzyme consisting of a short chain and a long chain linked by a disulfide bridge. Mice lacking the encoded protein display an impairment in mucosal regeneration after injury. |

SDS-PAGE; WB; ELISA; IP. |
Stability : |
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition. |
Storage : |
Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Store at 2-8°C for one month. Aliquot and store at -80°C for 12 months. |
