KDM5D

  • Official Full Name

    lysine (K)-specific demethylase 5D

  • Overview

This gene encodes a protein containing zinc finger domains. A short peptide derived from this protein is a minor histocompatibility antigen which can lead to graft rejection of male donor cells in a female recipient. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.

KDM5D has several biochemical functions, for example, 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetate alpha-ketoglutarate dioxygenase activity, C-19 gibberellin 2-beta-dioxygenase activity, C-20 gibberellin 2-beta-dioxygenase activity. Some of the functions are cooperated with other proteins, some of the functions could acted by KDM5D itself. We selected most functions KDM5D had, and list some proteins which have the same functions with KDM5D. You can find most of the proteins on our site.
