VPRBP
-
Official Full Name
Vpr (HIV-1) binding protein
-
Overview
VprBP may act as a receptor for CUL4-DDB1 ubiquitin ligase complex. In case of HIV1 infection, this protein is recruited by HIV1 VPR protein which is believed to result in an arrest of the cell cyccle in the G2 phase. -

VPRBP has several biochemical functions, for example, ATP binding, histone kinase activity (H2A-T120 specific), kinase activity. Some of the functions are cooperated with other proteins, some of the functions could acted by VPRBP itself. We selected most functions VPRBP had, and list some proteins which have the same functions with VPRBP. You can find most of the proteins on our site.

VPRBP has direct interactions with proteins and molecules. Those interactions were detected by several methods such as yeast two hybrid, co-IP, pull-down and so on. We selected proteins and molecules interacted with VPRBP here. Most of them are supplied by our site. Hope this information will be useful for your research of VPRBP.
