It is a polypeptide chain consisting of 166 amino acid residues (Ala28-Arg193) of human EPO and a human IgG Fc segment with a molecular weight of 58 kDa.

• Description: Erythropoietin (EPO), also known as erythropoietin-stimulating factor and erythropoietin, is an endogenous human glycoprotein hormone that stimulates erythropoiesis. Erythropoietin production can be stimulated by hypoxia, and recombinant human erythropoietin has long been used clinically for the treatment of anemia in combination with renal insufficiency, anemia caused by acquired immunodeficiency syndrome/AIDS itself or treatment, anemia associated with malignant tumors, and anemia in rheumatic diseases.
