Cat. No. : | Il1r1-5653M |
Description : | Il1r1 isan 80 kDa transmembrane protein that is expressed predominantly by T cells, fibroblasts, and endothelialcells. IL-1 receptor Type II is a 68 kDatransmembrane protein found on B lymphocytes, neutrophils, monocytes, largegranular leukocytes and endothelial cells. Both receptors are members of theimmunoglobulin superfamily and show approximately 28% sequence identity intheir extracellular domains. The two receptor types do not heterodimerize intoa receptor complex. Mouse Il1r1 shares 63% amino acid sequence homology withhuman Il1r1 in their extracellular domains. |
Source : | Mammalian cells |
Form : | Lyophilizedfrom a 0.2 um filtered solution in PBS. |
N-terminalSequence : | Leu20 |
MolecularWeight : | 63.8 kDa (monomer) |
Activity : | Measuredby its ability to inhibit IL-1α-dependent proliferation in D10.G4.1 mouse helperT cells. Approximately 0.005-0.015 μg/mL of IL-1 sRI/Fc will inhibit 50% ofthe biological response due to 50 pg/mL of rmIL-1a. |
