CSF3 is a pleiotropic cytokine bestknown for its specific effects on the proliferation, differentiation, andactivation of hematopoietic cells of the neutrophilic granulocyte lineage. Itis produced mainly by monocytes and macrophages upon activation by endotoxin,TNFα and IFNγ. Other cell types including fibroblasts, endothelial cells,astrocytes and bone marrow stromal cells can also secrete GCSF after LPS, IL1or TNFα activation. In addition, various carcinoma cell lines andmyeloblastic leukemia cells can express CSF3 constitutively. |

Further dilutions should be made in appropriatebuffered solutions. |
