Cat. No. : CAB-11472MH
Antigen Description : Epidermal growthfactor receptor (EGFR) is a 170 kDa membrane protein first identified as abinding partner of EGF. Also, EGFR phosphorylated itself(autophosphorylation) in response to EGF treatment. The overexpression of EGFRin various epithelial tumors was widely reported and it has beensubstantiated that deregulation of EGFR itself and its signaling pathways animportant role in human cancers.
Immunogen : Recombinant humanEGFR (424-605aa) purified from E. coli.
Host : Mouse
Isotype : MouseIgG2b heavy chain and κ light chain.
Application : ELISA; WB;ICC
Clone : BU3I9
Description : EGFR isthe cell-surface receptor for members of the epidermal growth factor family(EGF-family) of extracellular protein ligands.
Concentration : 1 mg/ml
Form : Liquid.In Phosphate-Buffered Saline (pH 7.4) with 0.1% Sodium Azide.
Usage : Theantibody has been tested by ELISA, Western blot analysis to assurespecificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, eachinvestigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results.Recommended dilution range for Western blot analysis is 1:250.Immunofluorescence is 1:250. Recommended starting dilution is 1:250.

Ask a question
What biological processes of human embryonic development and tissue regeneration is EGFR associated with? 10/07/2019

It is associated with biological processes in human embryonic development and tissue regeneration.

Why does EGFR-inhibiting drug therapy have adverse reactions? 09/25/2019

EGFR inhibits adverse drug reactions such as rash, inflammation, and diarrhea during drug treatment.

What is the role of EGFR in tumor treatment? 08/27/2019

The role of EGFR in tumor treatment is to act as a molecular marker and can be used as a prognostic indicator and monitor tumor progression; at the same time, EGFR mutations can also be targeted for targeted therapy.

What are the general methods used for EGFR gene mutation testing? 03/22/2019

EGFR gene mutation detection generally uses PCR, fluorescence in situ hybridization, and direct sequencing.

What other drugs can EGFR inhibitors be combined with to increase efficacy? 02/21/2019

The combination of EGFR inhibitors with chemotherapy drugs, radiotherapy, immunotherapy, etc. can increase the efficacy of treatment and reduce the occurrence of adverse reactions.

How do EGFR mutations affect the efficacy of targeted therapies? 02/04/2019

EGFR mutations can have a significant impact on the efficacy of targeted therapies, and patients with mutations have higher response rates.

Reviews
09/05/2022

The powerful biological activity of EGFR combined with its high purity makes the experimental results highly reproducible, which is of great significance in the field of scientific research.

    09/26/2019

Due to the short half-life and high clearance characteristics of EGFR, they can better adapt to the needs of clinical treatment and provide more treatment options for patients.

      03/23/2019

The production process of EGFR uses advanced biotechnology, which makes the production process more efficient and environmentally friendly, and reduces the consumption of human and material resources.
