Cat. No. |
ACE2-735H |
|
Product Overview |
Recombinant human
ACE-2 (amino acid Met1~Ser740) encoding the original signal peptide
sequence and the extracellular domain was tagged with FLAG (DYKDDDDK)
at the C-terminus. The tagged protein was expressed in HEK-293
and
purified from c. |
|
Description |
Angiotensin I
converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) is an exopeptidase that catalyses the
conversion of angiotensin I to the nonapeptide angiotensin,or the
conversion of angiotensin II to angiotensin 1-7. ACE 2 has direct
effects on cardiac functiona, and is expressed predominantly in
vascular endothelial cells of the heart and the kidneys. |
|
Source |
HEK-293. |
|
Purity |
>90%, as determined
by SDS-PAGE. |
|
Form
|
0.2 m filtered
solution in phosphate-buffered saline. |
|
Activity |
Hydrolysis of a
fluorescent peptide substrate, Mca-Y-V-A-D-A-P-K(Dnp)-OH. |
|
Endotoxin Level |
<0.1EU/mg, as
determined by the LAL method. |
|
Storage |
The soluble
proteins should be stored in working aliquots at -20oC for three
months without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated
freeze-thaw cycles. |
