Description : | Antigen standard for alkB, alkylation repair homolog 5 (E. coli) (ALKBH5) is a lysate prepared from HEK293T cells transiently transfected with a TrueORF gene-carrying pCMV plasmid and then lysed in RIPA Buffer. Protein concentration was determined using a colorimetric assay. The antigen control carries a C-terminal Myc/DDK tag for detection. |
Source : | HEK 293 cells |
Species : | Human |
Components : | This product includes 3 vials: 1 vial of gene-specific cell lysate, 1 vial of control vector cell lysate, and 1 vial of loading buffer. Each lysate vial contains 0.1 mg lysate in 0.1 ml (1 mg/ml) of RIPA Buffer (50 mM Tris-HCl pH7.5, 250 mM NaCl, 5 mM EDTA, 50 mM NaF, 1% NP40). The loading buffer vial contains 0.5 ml 2X SDS Loading Buffer (125 mM Tris-Cl, pH6.8, 10% glycerol, 4% SDS, 0.002% Bromophenol blue, 5% beta-mercaptoethanol). |
Size : | 0.1 mg |
Storage Instruction : | Store at -80°C. Minimize freeze-thaw cycles. After addition of 2X SDS Loading Buffer, the lysates can be stored at -20°C. Product is guaranteed 6 months from the date of shipment. |
Applications : | ELISA, WB, IP. WB: Mix equal volume of lysates with 2X SDS Loading Buffer. Boil the mixture for 10 min before loading (for membrane protein lysates, incubate the mixture at room temperature for 30 min). Load 5 ug lysate per lane. |

Ask a questionThe knockout of ALKBH5 protein can significantly affect multiple biological processes such as cell survival, proliferation and apoptosis, indicating that ALKBH5 protein is necessary for normal physiological regulation of cells.
The protein can regulate gene expression and transcriptional modification through hybridization mutation and secondary structure change of m6A RNA modification.
This protein can recognize and bind to m6A RNA methylation modification, and then mediate m6A demethylation modification through active sites, thereby regulating metabolic transcription of target RNA.
ALKBH5 plays an important role in RNA modification, metabolism and translation.
Yes, ALKBH5 is a protein involved in m6A modification.
ALKBH5 protein is associated with metabolic diseases such as liver cancer and kidney disease, and its function of regulating metabolic balance is an important link in the occurrence and development of these diseases.
ALKBH5 protein has a variety of splicing isomers, which have different functions and roles in interaction with other proteins and RNA modification.
ALKBH5 protein plays an important role in the metabolic process of tumors, so its abnormal expression and dysfunction can cause the occurrence and development of tumors.
ALKBH5 protein is highly expressed in reproductive organs, brain tissue, heart and other tissues and cells.
The expression of ALKBH5 protein is affected by a variety of endogenous factors, such as hormone levels and metabolite concentrations, which are related to the function and regulation of ALKBH5 protein.
ALKBH5 is frequently expressed in human ovary, testis and thyroid tissue.
Yes, ALKBH5 is involved in human germ cell development and fertilization.
ALKBH5 interacts with proteins related to RNA modification, such as m6A methyltransferase and m6A reader protein, which have important biological significance for the stability and precise regulation of RNA modification.
At present, no specific drug targeting regimen for ALKBH5 has been identified.
No enhancers or inhibitors of ALKBH5 have been developed.
Yes, ALKBH5 usually needs to bind to other RNA-modified proteins to perform its functions.
No direct correlation has been found between mutations in ALKBH5 and specific diseases.
Some studies have suggested that ALKBH5 may have some effect on the development and progression of tumors.
The ALKBH5 protein is a protein that regulates RNA modification and mediates demethylation of m6A RNA methylation.
