Description : Interleukin 18 receptor accessory protein, also known as IL18RAP, IL1R7 and CDw218b, is a single-pass type I membrane protein. It is member of the interleukin-1 receptor family. IL18RAP contains 2 Ig-like C2-type (immunoglobulin-like) domains and 1 TIR domain. IL18RAP is strongly expressed in peripheral blood leukocytes, spleen, lung, and, to a lesser extent, in colon. It is not expressed in any other tissue tested. IL18RAP is also strongly expressed in T-cells polarized with IL12 and specifically coexpressed with IL18R1 in Th1 cells.

Endotoxin : < 1.0 EU per 1μg of the protein as determined by the LAL method.
Stability : Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -700C.

Molecular Mass : The recombinant human IL18RAP /Fc chimera is a disulfide-linked homodimeric protein. The reduced monomer consists of 575 amino acids and has a calculated molecular mass of 65.2 KDa. As a result of glycosylation, the apparent molecular mass of rhIL18RAP/Fc monomer is approximately 80 -90 KDa in reduced SDS-PAGE.
Formulation : Supplied as a 0.2μm filtered solution of PBS, pH7.4.
Reconstitution : Follow the instructions on the vial. Centrifuge the vial at 40C before opening to recover the entire contents.
Storage : Store it under sterile conditions at -700C upon receiving. Recommend to aliquot the protein into smaller quantities for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
