Cat. No. : PTPRF-469H
Description : PTPRF or LAR is a member of the protein tyrosine phosphatase family with an extracellular region, a single transmembrane region, and two tandem intracytoplasmic catalytic domains. PTPRF has been shown to function in the regulation of epithelial cell-cell contacts at adherents junctions as well as in the control of beta-catenin signaling. An increased expression level of this protein was found in the insulin-responsive tissue of obese, insulin-resistant individuals, and may contribute to the pathogenesis of insulin resistance.
Source : E.Coli.
Sequence : 1275-1897.
Applications : Kinase Assay, Western Blot.
Storage And Stability : Store product at –70oC. For optimal storage, aliquot target into smaller quantities after centrifugation and store at recommended temperature. For most favorable performance, avoid repeated handling and multiple freeze/thaw cycles.

Ask a question
Do specific PTPRF inhibitors have therapeutic effects on autoimmune diseases? 11/21/2022

PTPRF inhibitors can inhibit certain abnormal signaling pathways in autoimmune diseases, thereby exerting their role in the treatment of autoimmune diseases.

What is the therapeutic effect of specific PTPRF inhibitors on inflammatory diseases? 10/16/2021

Specific PTPRF inhibitors can inhibit certain signaling pathways in the inflammatory response, thereby playing a role in the treatment of inflammatory diseases.

What is the effect of knocking out the PTPRF gene on tumorigenesis? 10/11/2021

Knocking out the PTPRF gene may increase the risk of developing certain tumors, which may be related to aberrant regulation of cell cycle control and cell growth.

Is there a specific PTPRF inhibitor? 05/17/2021

There are currently some studies that report specific PTPRF inhibitors that can inhibit the enzymatic activity of PTPRF and thus exert therapeutic effects.

Is there a soluble PTPRF protein? 04/22/2021

Yes, soluble PTPRF proteins exist that can be detected in extracellular fluids and may play a role in regulating cell-to-cell communication and signal transduction.

What are the therapeutic strategies for PTPRF protein? 04/22/2020

Therapeutic strategies for PTPRF protein include increasing its expression level, inhibiting its enzymatic activity, and regulating its interaction with other proteins, which can be used to treat PTPRF protein-related diseases.
