Description : The protein encoded by this gene has ubiquitin ligase activity. It mediates E3-dependent ubiquitination and proteasomal degradation of target proteins, including tumor protein 53, histone deacetylase 1, and cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor 1B, thus regulating their levels and cell cycle progression. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described for this gene.

Ask a question
Why RCHY1 attempts to provide supportive information as a marker in early node-negative oral squamous cell carcinoma? 11/04/2020

RCHY1 acts as an independent target in early-stage node-negative oral squamous cell carcinoma and may provide patients with more accurate diagnostic and prognostic information.

What is the association between RCHY1 and ovarian, breast cancer, etc.? 10/23/2020

The association between RCHY1 and ovarian and breast cancer is mainly manifested in its regulation of hormone receptor expression, migration and invasion.

Is RCHY1 an important driver? 12/13/2019

RCHY1, as a Ubiquitin ligase, has been found as a driving factor in a variety of cancers such as liver, prostate, and kidney cancer.

How about the relationship between the expression of RCHY1 and prognosis? 07/03/2019

RCHY1 is expressed in different types of cancer, and its high expression is associated with poor prognosis and high risk of metastasis.

Does the polymorphism of RCHY1 predict tumor recurrence? 06/03/2019

For breast and ovarian cancer patients, the polymorphisms of RCHY1 are associated with the risk of tumor recurrence and can be used as a biomarker to predict recurrence.

What is the role of RCHY1 in apoptosis? 03/03/2019

RCHY1 is involved in regulating apoptosis signaling pathways by mediating the single ubiquitination pathway and promoting apoptosis of tumor cells.
