Histone Analysis Antibodies

Brief Introduction

Histone Analysis Antibodies

The histone octamer is composed of histones H2A, H2B, H3 and H4. The histone octamer and the DNA that binds it form the basic structure of chromatin, the nucleosome. In addition to the core histones (H2A, H2B, H3, and H4), there is a class of linker histone H1. The presence of histones ensures that genomic DNA can be packaged relatively tightly and orderly in the nucleus. Histones are highly subject to various post-translational modifications (PTMs) at specific amino acid residues on the histone tails that protrude from the core nucleosome. These modifications cause spatial changes in chromatin structure, regulating various cellular processes such as replication, transcription, and DNA repair.

At Creative BioMart, we offer a variety of histone analysis antibodies, including antibodies for detecting unmodified/modified histones and antibodies that target proteins/enzymes involved in the dynamic changes in histone PTMs. Our histone analysis antibodies are of various types and can be applied to multiple antibody-based techniques (such as Western Blot, Dot Blot, IHC/ICC, ChIP-Seq, ChIP-PCR). Both monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies provided by Creative BioMart have been screened and validated by multiple tests, which ensure that the finished product meets or exceeds our stringent quality control standards for optimal performance. Our highly specific monoclonal antibodies allow you to obtain sensitive, easily interpreted and repeatable results. Of course, our recombinant antibodies can be modified into different forms to suit specific applications according to your requirements.
