Cat.No.: | PE-3603 |
Product Name: | Recombinant Histone H2BFWT |
Product Overview: | Recombinant Histone H2BFWT (accession number: NP_001002916.3) was expressed in E. coli cells as full length protein without any tag. The molecular weight of H2BFWT is about 19.5 kDa. The recombinant histone is >92% pure by SDS-PAGE. |
Background: | H2BFWT (H2B histone family member W, testis specific) has been found in sperm nuclei and appears to be associated with the telomeric chromatin. In contrast to conventional H2B, H2BFWT is unable to recruit chromosome condensation factors and to participate in the assembly of mitotic chromosomes. |
Applications: | Suitable for use as substrate for histone modification enzymes, or to generate chromatin in vitro. |
Storage: | Store at 4℃ if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store at -20℃ or -80℃ for longer periods of time. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles. |
