Cat.No.:  PE-0191
Product Name:  Recombinant Human Sirtuin 6, His-tagged
Product Overview:  Recombinant Human SIRT6, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by conventional chromatography techniques, 41 kDa (375 aa).
Description:  The SIRT6 is included in class IV of the sirtuin family, homologs to the yeast Sir2 protein. The functions of human sirtuins have not yet been determined; however, in yeast sirtuins are known to regulate epigenetic gene silencing. Also SIRT6, a chromatin-associated protein, appears to be involved in DNA repair.
Storage:  Store at 4℃ if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store at -20℃ or -80℃ for longer periods of time. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
